| The Bowling Club is situated in the Pavilion at the far end of the Recreation Ground, in Thames Avenue, Pangbourne. We have an excellent bowling green surface cared for by a conscientious team of club volunteers, lead by a first class green keeper. We welcome new members of all ages to the club, from those with no previous experience, to established players that have moved into the district from other clubs. Regular coaching by qualified County and Club coachers is available throughout the season on Thursday evenings. The club is in a number of local leagues so there is plenty of opportunity to play friendly and competitive games against other local sides. Our social activities are organized by the social secretary throughout the season and a number of events during the close season. All are welcome, so come along and meet our friendly members and enjoy the quality and character of the club. |
